# Use with ChatGPT

Connect Autentique to ChatGPT as a custom MCP app.

Use Autentique from ChatGPT through a custom remote MCP connection. This manual setup is available while the public directory listing is under review.

### Availability

Custom MCP app availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings. A workspace owner or administrator may need to enable developer mode or custom apps before members can connect the server. Access to write actions also depends on the plan and workspace policy.

### Connect Autentique

1. Open ChatGPT on the web and go to your workspace settings.
2. Open **Apps** and, if required, enable the option for custom MCP apps.
3. Choose to create or add a custom app.
4. Enter **Autentique** as the name.
5. Enter the remote MCP server URL:

6. Save the app and select **Connect**.
7. Continue to Autentique, sign in, review the requested permissions, and select **Allow**.

If you cannot add a custom app, ask your workspace owner or administrator to enable it or add it for the workspace.

### Use Autentique in a conversation

1. Start a new conversation.
2. Add Autentique from the available apps or tools.
3. Ask ChatGPT to perform an Autentique task.
4. Review the tool arguments and confirm write actions when prompted.

Try: “Show me the documents that are still awaiting signatures.”

### Write actions

Creating documents or changing signers may modify data and consume plan or API credits. ChatGPT can request confirmation before important write actions. Read the arguments carefully before approving them.

### Public listing

After the Autentique listing is approved, this page will be updated with the direct installation flow from the ChatGPT directory.
